Hospitality management courses
In their first two years of the program, students in our business management bachelor’s degree program take a variety of business courses and general education classes that strengthen their general business knowledge and critical thinking and communication skills. In the second half of the program, hospitality management training includes topics such as the following:
- Hospitality organizations
- Hospitality industry trends
- Domestic and global hospitality service strategies
- Casino and gaming operations
- Food service management
- Service marketing
Students also complete a capstone course in which they apply their knowledge in hospitality-industry environments. This gives them hands-on experience and opportunities to observe management operations in the field.
Online available
Students can study hospitality management at our Lakeville campus or through GU/MSB’s online division. Students can also combine online and on-campus courses. Either option allows students to take advantage of extensive online support services.
