The role of the admissions representative
Our admissions representatives are available to help from your first meeting until you start classes. They can answer your questions or introduce you to the right person if they don’t know the answers. They can assist as you complete forms or research financial aid. We make sure that the application process is as easy as possible.
Academic requirements
Individual programs at GU/MSB-Lakeville have different requirements, so it is important to contact an admissions representative to find out about specific admissions criteria. In general, students must achieve minimum scores on the Accuplacer or ACT/SAT tests. Students must have at least a high school diploma or GED. They must demonstrate proficiency in math and writing. Our representatives can help you determine if meet the admission requirements.
Financial aid
Most students receive some form of financial aid. Our Lakeville school awards scholarships to eligible students. In addition, our representatives can help as you identify other sources of assistance, including government and private loans and grants.
Credit for prior learning
Students who have completed college classes elsewhere or who have been working may be able to receive credit for their prior learning and work experience. When they receive college credit in this way, students are often able to shorten the time it takes to earn their degrees. This not only saves time, but also money and gets them started on their careers more quickly.
